Luminous Lens Studio was founded in 2010 by seasoned photographer, Eleanor Vance, with a vision to provide exceptional photography services to the Chicago community and beyond. What started as a small, home-based studio has grown into a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of talented and passionate photographers.

Eleanor's initial inspiration came from her deep love of storytelling and her desire to preserve cherished memories for families and individuals. With a background in photojournalism and a keen eye for detail, she set out to create a studio that not only delivered stunning images but also provided a personalized and memorable experience for every client.

Over the years, Luminous Lens Studio has had the privilege of capturing countless weddings, portraits, events, and commercial projects. In 2018, Luminous Lens Studio expanded its services to include advanced video production, allowing us to offer even more comprehensive visual solutions to our clients. This expansion has further solidified our position as a leading provider of professional photography and videography services in the region.

Eleanor Vance

Founder & Lead Photographer

Eleanor Vance is the heart and soul of Luminous Lens Studio. With over 15 years of experience in photography, she brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to every project. Her expertise in portraiture, wedding photography, and event coverage ensures that every client receives exceptional results. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Samuel Wright

Senior Videographer & Editor

Samuel Wright is our Senior Videographer and Editor, responsible for capturing and crafting stunning videos that complement our photography services. Samuel brings a decade of experience in film production and video editing. Samuel holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia College Chicago.

Olivia Moore

Associate Photographer

Olivia Moore is a talented Associate Photographer specializing in portrait and commercial photography. She joined Luminous Lens Studio in 2019 and has quickly become an integral part of our team. With a background in digital marketing, Olivia also assists with our social media and online presence. She graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Benjamin Harris

Event & Corporate Photography Specialist

Benjamin Harris is our dedicated Event and Corporate Photography Specialist. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for capturing candid moments, Benjamin expertly documents corporate events, conferences, and galas. Benjamin earned his certification from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) in 2020.
